American International Pictures, the studio that brought us movies like I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF, BEACH BLANKET BINGO, BLACULA, THE AMAZING COLOSSAL MAN, COFFY, IT CONQUERED THE WORLD, THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES, and A BUCKET OF BLOOD, and hundreds more iconic films, began on April 2nd, 1954. On AIP’s 69th anniversary, two people launced a podcast devoted to these masters of exploitation films, and called it the American International Podcast.
